Freshmeister Dougie "Fresh" Blackett, the epitome of onstage cool and happening funky grooves. The perfect partner for Dave, they are the engine room that makes the band motor smoothly. Or not. It depends how much beer is on the band rider, really.

Doug started his musical path before his teens on the piano. He then gave up music for many years before returning as a bass player. We wonder what he is trying to tell keyboardists by this. After following a similar musical path to Dave Bynoe, Doug also gets the calls from visiting reggae bands and passing U.S. blues guitarists.
Despite his frame looking slight at a casual glance, Doug is a big, strong, powerful man. If anyone has any complaints about the show, we direct them to Doug. Doug is a big, strong, powerful man. We think you'll like the show.
